    Free Laptops for African Students

There is no doubt that as a student, a laptop can be an extremely useful tool. You can do your homework, create presentations, save documents—the possibilities are virtually endless. One of the biggest hurdles to getting a laptop is the cost. This is because many students don’t have the financial means to obtain a laptop. And this problem leaves them with two choices: either take out a loan or do without a laptop all together.

In these cases, students need to speak with their school administrators in order to find out which programs are available at their schools. In these situations, students are allowed to “rent” a laptop free of charge throughout the school year and then return it at the end of the year. In the case of many disabilities, portable objects and devices come in handy and sometimes just the thought of hanging out in bed sounds good. Laptops provide disabled individuals with entertainment throughout the day when no one is home. Read the rest of this entry »
